Our venue is a Beyul Retreat, a century-old guest ranch nestled in a secluded valley deep in the wilderness near Aspen, Colorado. Beyul is more than a retreat center—it is a hidden world of wild beauty and profound stillness. Tucked along the Frying Pan River and surrounded by snow-laden forests and towering peaks, Beyul invites you to rest in its quiet grandeur. With cozy cabins, wood-fired hot tubs, and crackling fireplaces, every corner is designed to nurture rest and renewal.

Steep in the deep rhythms of the season with daily yoga and meditation, delicious organic meals, and special invitations crafted to support your body and mind during this time of deep reset. And, for those who wish to bring a touch of winter adventure into the experience, world-class skiing at Snowmass is just an hour’s drive away.

    SHAWN PARELL

    Shawn Parell is an integrative therapist, teacher, and writer. Her interdisciplinary work weaves together wisdom traditions, healing modalities, and evidence-based frameworks grounded in the thesis of authentic well-being.

    Since 2002, Shawn has mentored hundreds of yoga teachers and guided thousands of practitioners to more fully embody the experience of being human. Shawn supports clients through her private therapy practice and teaches mindfulness courses and immersions worldwide. She has partnered with visionary companies like Sweetgreen, U.S. Green Building Council, and Honest Tea, and her work has been featured in publications ranging from Yoga Journal and SHAPE Magazine to the Washington Post.

    WENDELIN SCOTT

    Wendelin is Director of YogaSource and of the YogaSource Teacher Training. She is a passionate studio owner with over two decades of participation and leadership in the Santa Fe yoga community. Since 2006 Wendelin has designed and shared yogic studies, curricula, retreats, workshops and teacher training programs locally and internationally. Wendelin’s approach to yoga classes is infused with twenty-five years of practice, study and teaching. She is anchored in the Krishnamacharya lineage and in the wisdom of her teacher, Kofi Busia.

    Wendelin is a gifted guide whose classes offer centering meditations and breath practice, inspired sequencing, and deep, playful exploration of the poses. Curiosity, warm-heartedness and openness are central to her approach which supports an class experience that is peaceful, joyful and empowering for participants. Wendelin was a Presidential Scholar in the Arts in 1980 for Poetry. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Bard College as well as a graduate degree in Eastern Classics.
