Immerse yourself in yoga and the healing spring fed waters of Ojo Santa Fe, an oasis nestled in the serene beauty of the high desert. Soak in the beautiful springs or swim in the salt water pool. Cultivate inner stillness and clarity during the two guided yoga classes. Soothe your body and mind and emerge feeling refreshed, revitalized, and deeply connected to your inner peace.

    Schedule:
  • 10:00am-10:45am Arrive at Ojo Santa Fe and check in
  • 11:00am-1:00pm Active All Level Yoga Class with Amy
  • 1:00-5:00 Leisure time to enjoy the nourishing springs, eat at Ojo Blue Heron restaurant or pack a picnic, take a walk around the beautiful lush property, play with puppies, enjoy the gardens or rest in the hammocks
  • 5:00pm-7:00pm Rest and Restore Yoga Class
  • Optional soak until 10:00pm

    YOUR TEACHER ON RETREAT

    AMY SPURLOCK

    Amy, a seasoned Yoga Alliance-Certified 500-Hour E-RYT Teacher since 2002 and a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist, has dedicated her life to exploring the depths of embodiment and movement. She has been a student of yoga since 1995. She has taken multiple 200 and 500 hour teacher trainings as well as completing a 2000 hour training with Aadil Palkhivala in 2005. Amy is a certified Rolfing® Structural Integrator and TA in the Structural Integration UNM Taos program. She teaches public and private yoga classes, leads retreats and is co-director of YogaSource Immersion and Teacher Training.

     

    Fascinated by the intricate interplay of body and mind, Amy has delved into the study of structural and functional anatomy. Amy's community classes are layered with instructions for all levels and students are encouraged to challenge themselves appropriately. With attention to presence in the body her classes invite students to connect, explore, breathe into and embrace the deeper levels of self. This skill has a ripple effect off the mat and into the yoga of life!
